Total slacker here!

So, it's been over a month since I have blogged. 

Things are going really well. I love my job and free chapel is amazing. 

I'm starting to kinda learn my way around. Friendships are growing and I'm really loving it. 

Married life is GREAT! Jason is awesome. 

We're really excited b/c in a little over a week, we are going home for Christmas!!! YAY!!!!

I love this time of year! Oh yeah, it snowed here the other night. Can you believe that? So crazy!

Well, I need to go get my license. I already went down once today but I didn't have everything I needed. (I did check online before going and it didn't say that you HAD to have your birth certificate...ahhhh) Needless to say, I was not very happy. I've got to have them though. You gotta do what you gotta do.

It has been quite a while since I've written. I'm a slacker. I do have some what of an excuse. 

I got married 2 1/2 weeks ago..woohoo. 

I moved half way across the United States.

And, I got a new job. 

Things couldn't be going better. I absolutely love being married. Jason is the best!

I'm adjusting to Austin quite well. Very cool town.  And, Free Chapel is amazing. 

My new job is so awesome. Definitely a blessing. 

I know I need to put our wedding pics up on here and am planning to do that really soon. 

Well, I'm going to surprise my husband with dinner tonight so I have to get going for now. 

I'll keep everyone posted. And, I'll have pics up soon.

just a few more days...

So, I'm getting married this friday....aaahhhhh...so crazy. It really doesn't seem real...I'm sooooo excited.
With all the excitement also comes stress. I've got quite a bit still to do and I worked today and I'm working tomorrow. People start coming into town tomorrow and it then becomes even more busy.
Well, I don't have a lot of time to write now but I'll try to blog again before the wedding. If not I'll be a Martin next time I blog!!!!!!!!!

Ok so, I'm so glad that it's friday. Busy week at work. I only have one more full week of work so I'm trying to help get everything caught up before I leave. Needless to say, I've been working like crazy.
I can't believe that I'll be married 2 weeks from today. It's so crazy how time flies. I'm so excited and can't wait to be married to the most amazing man ever!!!
I'm going to have a busy weekend aswell. Flying out in the am(early am like 6 am early..uggg) to go to Austin :) I have 2 job interviews on monday so pray that something great will come from them. SOOOO excited to see everyone again and to see my soon to be husband ;)
I feel so much joy inside of me just thinking of all the things that I have to look forward to.
Well, I've got to get back to work. I'll write more later.

16 days...

So, there is only 16 days left before I'll be a married woman...woohoo.
Jason is in TX and pretty much everything is done for the wedding so now, I'm about to go crazy just waiting for it to get here.

I got a call from a dentist there so please pray that it will work out.

As I drove to work this morning this song really hit me. This song is my prayer today and every day. I will live to love Him. I will live to bring Him praise. I will live a child in awe of Him.

Amazing

I have to say that I had an amazing time this weekend. 

I got to Austin around 10 wednesday night. Jason also got there about the same time...poor baby! Thank you for driving all our stuff half way across the country. You're the best. 

Thursday we looked at apartments most of the day and ate dinner with Jeremy and Ash. Corn casserole, man that stuff is good. 

Friday we decided on an apartment after much consideration. I'm so glad we decided to live at the allexan. It is absolutely beautiful, great workout room, awesome club house and and amazing pool. And, we've already met some really cool people there.   Friday evening we went to a tailgate party at Lake Travis High School to serve the community....soooo fun. After the game, Jason and I moved all out stuff in our apartment. 

Got up early saturday morning and passed out invites for the grand opening. Had prayer that afternoon. Then, Jason and I started unpacking boxes....ugggg. 

Sunday was the Grand Opening at Free Chapel Austin. It was awesome. God was totally there. I can't wait to see what's going to happen. We ate lunch with Derek and Lindsey and I flew back sunday evening. Really sad to go but it won't be too long. 

Can't wait to get back to be with everyone. And, by the way, next time I'm there I'll be a Martin. WooHoo!

A new journey

I'm actually going to start blogging!!!!!
I've put it off for far too long. I'm really excited to be able to put my thoughts down and be able to read back later.

So, today I'm at work. I'm multitasking. Ha. I'm only working until 2:30 today b/c I'm flying out to go to Austin today. Woo Hoo! So Excited!!!

So much is happening right now. I'm engaged to be married. We will be married (Jason and I that is) on October 10. We can't wait. On top of planning a wedding and preparing for all that marriage brings, We are going to be moving to Austin, TX. Yep, that's right. Jason is actually in route right now with all our stuff. We are going to help with a church plant (Free Chapel Austin). So exciting. I am a little nervous about it but it's gonna be so much fun.

I don't have time to go into more details right now but I'll definitely blog later. Please pray for me today. I get nervous about flying alone.
